Robert Geller Backstage - Spring 2012

I’ve had these photos on my phone for awhile now, and with early plans for Fashion Week in February starting to form I wanted to share my experience helping out at the Robert Geller show in September for spring 2012 (arriving sooner than later, can’t believe how fast time flies).

Rack of handmade and dyed necklaces worn by the models in Geller’s (beautiful) showroom.

One of his inspirations for this collection was the Bauhaus school and their use of geometric shapes.

One of my favorites polaroids Robbie took (series can be found here) backstage and in his studio. The film he was using, PX 600 Silver Shade, greats absolutely stunning photographs and captures light beautifully.

Early setup of the model stations - I’m always impressed at how neat and meticulously organized the stylists’ team is throughout the entire process.

My favorite photo I took of Robbie - SO HAWT RIGHT NOW, ROBBIE. Also, dat bomber.

After hair and makeup, there was a quick model run through to check the music, pacing, lights, eat donuts, stare, squat

After the initial run through things were pretty hectic, but managed to snap a picture that captured the beautiful silhouette that was shown in this collection.
